I am often asked why we don't make our Cozy cradle baby sling adjustable like all the other carriers on the market...and the answer is,

My graduate work in cross-cultural infant-wearing practices and the primal needs of my first-born are what prompted me to design the first sling-type carrier in America...the Cozy cradle baby sling

While doing my graduate work in Cross-cultural infant-wearing practices I had the opportunity to interview a neurosurgeon at Tulane University. I coined the term primal mothering with the birth of my firstborn in 1986 and I designed the first sling-type carrier to accommodate my daughter's need to be held all the time.
Alone and determined in a society that trains women to leave their babies to cry, I wanted to share the joys and convenience of baby wearing, breastfeeding, and the family bed with other women who felt the same as me.
As my daughter grew I learned even more about this path of primal mothering as my maternal soul chose to protect her from the dangers of vaccines, ensure family togetherness through home education, and honor her desire to become a primal mom when she was in her teens.
I passed on the knowledge of primal mothering to her and picked up the banner of primal grammahood, meaning that I am here for my daughter and grandchildren...may the circle be unbroken.
