I remember the parties at Lovelight...then the one off's with you and Merlin at the Palladium...(I still have those flyers)...We finally got a home on Hubert street (I still have my first invitational membership card). I remember opening night, we were all pacing Varick looking for Hubert but when we found it WE FOUND IT. Hubert Street was truly MY PIECE OF HEAVEN...I remember that rainy night when Alexis P. Suter rolled through! Incredible party!!! I remember what I think was the last party (although we didn't know)...Roy Ayers it was truly Til the cops come knockin' cause they did!!! Off we went to the Tunnel, then to 39th Street and now Spring. Nobody and I mean NOBODY can mix it up and blend like you do. One of my all time favorite mash up's is when you paired Betty Wright's "One Step Up" with Nucleus' "Jam On It" -- FIERCE!!! and I haven't heard that Betty Wright jam since. There are countless others but that one was just burnt into my brain...it was bananas!!!! The best to you always because YOU TRULY DO IT FOR LOVE!!!!!
