Is this what happens when "You Got The Music"?Then I am all for it.A Schmorgesborg of many differant influences in that song.Jazz, rock, funk, some mid eastern synth and to hold it all together Elliot's beautifull finger work ringing through his humbucking pick ups with his tastefull and cutting guitar playing. Thanks for sharing. This is better then a cup of coffee. This truly perks me up!

Elliot:

Thanks for your kind comment: glad you enjoyed my tune! I'll post more as they get recorded... I originally had a complete recorded library of my almost 100 or so tunes, but someone apparently valued my collection more than I...
:( . So, prolly time to do it all again...

Have a great weekend, & thanks for the friendship!

Peace,

Chazz.

Got 'Still Reelin' in the car. Belting up and down the motorways of UK with it on good and loud. Great production - thank you!

I am so loving your music! I hear so many different influences in it, yet it manages to give the nod without ever being tiresome or derivative. I hear Jaco Pastorius in the excellent fretless bass work; love the melodic guitar stylings; diggin'Crosby, Stills, Nash, Young in the harmonies (with perhaps an ironic debt to ELO?) and overall a generally easy infectious classic neu rock vibe! Can't wait to see you live.

Hey Elliott!!
EXCELLENT work man!!
Totally dig what you got goin' on!
Manhattan Attitude is my favorite here (love em all)...
Thanks for adding and yes, stop by anytime!

I think I found you when I was helping Pett Corby
with her Virtual Gigs page.
I am a total advocate for her Movement.
Check out her site in my top friends if you haven't already.
I know she is looking for more artists to help further the cause.

If you are interested, know that I am personally recommending you for the project.
Let me or she know if that's cool with you.
It would be an honor to share the
stage with you at ANY capacity.

Peace, Love and Respect to you and yours,
for 2009 and beyond!!

It had to be that guitar of course but a Marshall Valvestate! amazing it just goes to show that all the obsession with boutique gear is overrated and it is all in the hands and you must have boutique hands.
Great playing in Hammersmith Elliott

That's some attitude you got there Elliot namely a "Manhattan Attitude"I really loved the song. It's made up of my favorite ingredients.Funky Beat,Clavinet, and grooving funky guitar playing. Those notes you played might have cause damage 'cause they ripped right through me .Your humbucking pickup is used to the max in this song. That's Al Cooper on organ?Wow,he is so subtle but so effective.

A comment on High On Love. This is a very happy, good feeling song not like a lot of music today, bitter sweet.I see the song was recorded in '77 but it still retains it's freshness and relevance. For those married 30 years I d'ont know if everybody is still high on love but of course we have our moments!.The guitar is vintage Elliot complimenting the vocals. The singer remiminds me a bit like Steve Miller.Good song, good feel to it.Please keep churning out those gems on your site.We really appreciate it!
