New Mexico for Obama

Thank you for your support!

We're strongly encouraging all our supporters to sign up for Vote-by-Mail! To do so, you must be a registered voter and mail an application to your County Clerk's office. It's safe and reliable -- but most importantly, it allows you to vote from the comfort of your own home and volunteer for the campaign on Election Day!

Absentee Voting begins on October 7th, 2008. Your ballots will be mailed to you then. Absentee ballots must be turned in by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 4th, 2008. Sign up to receive an absentee ballot application:

After you sign up, check out our New Mexico website:

Thank-you

Dear Democratic Party,

Thank you for joining me at my new MySpace site, FINISHING TOUCHES MARY (http://www. myspace. com/finishing_touches_mary).

Having you with me is indeed a pleasure. Please note that due to the overwhelming response to my sight, I am forced to rotate friends on my TOP 40 list. If you can whoever is handling the Barack Obama site here at MySpace to respond, I 'would' keep them on the TOP 40, as I 'want' him in the White House. I hope too, that you folks can 'incluence' Hillary and Barack to run a 'joint ticket', as it would guarantee the election. I fear with fierce competition between Barack and Hillary has 'already' hurt chances for Democrats, and I 'fear' that the U.S. public behind Hillary will sway towards McCain if they don't run together. I WANT a Democrat in office...

Since time immortal, humans have found various ways to communicate. With the advent of writing, civilization as a whole has grown and expanded in knowledge. If it were not for the written word, we would know so little of the various cultures before us, and it is imperative that we too, leave our ‘footprint in the sand’ of history today, enabling future
generations to know and understand us.

I do hope you and your friends will visit me at my site, where I feature some of the most celebrated, avant-garde writers, artists, and producers of the 20th and 21st centuries.

So please ensure you peruse some of our forthcoming blogs and bulletins, as I am certain you will be poised to endorse them as well.

All my personal best,

Mary

Dear Democratic Party of NM: Thank you for YourFriendship. My eight-year-old-peace-activist son Axil's quest for World Peace Before 2021 is gaining momentum! I'm so proud of him. Please embrace him AND his song "World Peace Before 2021" which he sings beautifully. His performance can be seen on MySpace, his webpage www. worldpeacebefore2021. com and/or YouTube (by searching his name Axil Kollist.) It is my intention to post a new video of him singing his song every few months so people can watch his talent grow as impressively as the momentum for his quest! I'm sharing two photos with you. The first is of my son distributing his free world peace bumperstickers and the second photo is of him singing his song “World Peace Before 2021” at Maui's Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Day Festivities in January 08. By all means, email Axil if you’d like him to mail you one of his free “World Peace Before 2021” bumpersticker or if you’d like to invite him to sing for your function. His email address is worldpeacebefore2021@hawaii.rr.com .Very best regards, Axil Kollist’s mom

Thanks for the add!

My dad always told me "You get born. You become a Democrat. Then you die." The only time he ever voted for a Republican was when our next door neighbor ran for Sheriff.

I consider myself an independant, but I have almost always voted Democratic.

Let's have some change in November, okay!

"Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There
is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes that you can do these things.
Among them are a few Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or businessman from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid."

The Midterm elections on November 7th, are less than two months away and the DNC is calling all American Democrats to the polls. Now is the chance to take back Congress and all across the country, Democrats are gathering, sharing ideas, and supporting their local Democrat running for office. From Alaska to Florida, from Hawaii to Maine, Democrats are sending a message to Rush Limbaugh that his pain killer addiction problem, that his excuses are running out. A message to Katherine Harris in Florida that we have not forgotten from the 2000 election. A message to Tom Delay that your corruption has been brought to an end. To Sean Hannity and the rightwing network he works for that their smearing and hatred for the DNC will not work this November. To Former Representative Duke Cunningham and Representative Bob Ney that there is a culture of corruption. To Dick Cheney and Halliburton, that we are taking notes of everything you do and have done. To Karl Rove that he needs to find a new job. To Rummy and the question of where are those WMDs? A question to Condi Rice regarding how that Broadway show was while Hurricane Katrina was hitting New Orleans? And finally a question to President Bush. Can the DNC have that banner of 'Mission Accomplished'? We still do not know what we can do with that banner. Either we can take it to Iraq and have our brave troops sign the banner and then hang it in New York City's Time Square. Why? Just to show how much this small banner is the symbol of the biggest mistake an administration has done in American history. And how the Democrats again came back and cleaned up all the mess the previous administration left behind. Controlling the record breaking deficits, bringing an honest government and an honest congress back to the American people and to make sure not another Tom Delay or Duke Cunningham or Bob Ney never come back to Washington. To protect American rights given to us by the constitution and protecting this country from terrorists who want to harm our communities and our children.. That is the promise the DNC has and will keep.

"If by a liberal they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people--their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, their civil liberties...if that is what they mean by a liberal then I am proud to be a liberal."
