good to know you're close to Los Angeles... dig, on Friday, March 30th we're doing a Beatnik Film Night at the Egyptian Theater on Hollywood Blvd, featuring Curtis Harrington's 1961 flick "Night Tide" (starring Dennis Hopper & Linda Lawson), two early-'60s shorts on the Venice Beat scene, plus our own one-hour slide show of Beatnik coffeehouses and Jazz joints from Topanga Canyon to Laguna Beach 1956-1966 (some Hollywood ones too). Two shows one night this Sat. March 3rd!

Opening early (8:00PM sharp) for a Nirvana tribute to benefit the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center. The OF will be playing a sort set of Nirvana covers to help the cause with a whole host of local bands (see flyer). @ the San Diego Sports Club.

Then 100 feet over to...

The Alibi were the OF will headline and play the full OF shindig set with local favs The Mice and The Pullouts. Come on out for an evening of entertainment and help out a worthy cause!
