When you die, your soul leaves the body, yes? So surely if the girl truly "died" then her soul left her body? The family wouldn't pray for her soul to stay in the body and for her to come back to life before she died, so God must have already known he would bring her back to life.
Otherwise, why would he have kept the soul in the body?

If it says it on the God Channel then you can be 100% certain it's biased, because it's called the "God Channel". What are the odds they will say "this girl may have been raised by our prayers, but there is a considerable chance that it was with help from the doctors who have worked all their life to help people".

If someone is dead, genuinely dead and not suffering a medical condition that resembles death, and comes back to life after three days, they are a zombie, an abomination. "Soul" has left the body, unless God kept it there, and guess what? God would only keep it there if he was already going to raise her back.

First of all, it's hard to prove it ever even happened. I'm pretty sure the Bible isn't that big on making zombies, actually. So she was in heaven for three days then left? What monster would pray for that? Any Christian who prayed for someone to delay the time it takes for another to get to heaven is performing a despicable sin, surely? The main point of humanity is that we can eventually be judged and destroyed by the four horsemen or whatever that story is. Why delay death if you believe there's an unlimited orgasm on the other side?

There have been dozens of cases where people have "died" and come back to life, because there are numerous medical conditions that can resemble death that last for minutes, hours or, yes, days. It's a named medical condition (although I can't remember the name off the top of my head).

So you're saying that if you pray for someone and they then die, you will lose some faith in God? If the answer is "no" then you're a hypocrite by your own terms.

Surely it doesn't matter where they hid and prayed? The people who ran lived, the people who prayed died. Praying was a waste of time. They were massacered because they prayed instead of running.

We can prove this is any way. Pray that you can beat me in a running race? Pray that I get all As in my exams? In fact, you'll find the only times when prayer really works is when it's things that come down to immeasurable coincidence.

Of course, if the guy your Dad prayed for died, you would say "God meant for it to happen," and if your Dad didn't pray for him but it turned out he didn't die, you would say "God saved him". You see, there are only two options - you pray or you don't. No matter what the outcome you say "it was God's intention".

I turn your attention to the hordes of Genghis Khan when invading Poland. The citizens split into two groups - those who ran for the hills, and those who prayed in the Church. The people in the Church were fine until the Mongols said "oh look, there's a really obvious place to hide, let's set it on fire" and they all burned to death. Smooth move, God. Smooth.

Well I only ever go to Christian Confrences with my church youth group for example, and I have never really had the opertunity or anything. I don't have anything agnist it though,and I know that it is really popular. I normally go to Newday, have you ever heard of it?

I really like the fact that we are writing to eachother like this on myspace. It's really nice. I don't like the tought of loseing friends you have known a good while, especially if it is only through lost contact.

Yeh, if we ever meet up again oneday I'll be up defo up for it. I never go to Soul surv though, never have. Yeh God is leading me in the prophrtic and healing too. Yeh I'm really good thanx, life seems to be really interesting at the moment for me. God is donig so much in my life, and I think I'm starting to enjoy life alot more too. :) How are you?

Nah I don't have the God channel, but my mums looking to get it. I hope we do, would be really inspiring to watch no doubt. Whats been happening in Florida then? I've heard about it sort of, but not really heard any stories. Tell me some? :)
