The Accused™	Feb 7, 2007 12:39 AM OK OK It's OFFICIAL! The Accused are now TOTALLY geared-up to go over the mountains, across the plains and lone prairies (or whatever...) to the quaint little village of Richland, WA on March 3rd to commence rocking the place down to the waterline! In other words: The Accused can't WAIT to play in Richland with our good chums, D.E.K.; our special chumettes, Mechanical Dolls; and our new tri-cities 'sister-band' to whom we owe a Seattle-style partying to: The Ashamed!!! (Don't ask me where the HELL that term 'sister band' came from, but it works here...) Since our European tour got cancelled, we're itchin' to get back to playing live, but we'll have to wait til that weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of March, unfortunately. Tacoma's Hell's Kitchen is on the 2nd, and Ray's in Richland is on Sat. the 3rd of March. It's been several loooooong months since we rocked and rolled and for that matter: death-tolled with you maniacs out there!! Well, thanks to Dustin and Ray's Golden Lion, we're coming back for another round of Splatter-Rockin' to send the bowels-a-rockin'!! (That's supposed to be a GOOD thing, by the way...). We're stoked to be able to do it up with D.E.K. and the lovely and talented Mechanical Dolls, as they have shown us this very special place they discovered; much like an oasis amidst a barren desert, so-to-speak, known as Richland, and the Tri-Cities. You've got an amazing scene out there, people, and it's one to be proud of. There's more places than not that should be jealous of it. Thanks for partying with us again, you guys. This will be a seriously good time, and The Accused are chompin' at the bit to get back out there on March 3rd at Ray's Golden Lion!!! See you soon!! Seattle's scene as we know it--is gone. People could give a fuck if you're playing on a given night here. In fact, most of the time, it seems that the music is just ruining their evening of gossipping and trying to get laid. It's a special community of all types of kids--young and old there. You made us feel it was worth playing, and THEN SOME. Trust me, it will suck if you lose the ingredients that keeps it so sacred and real. Unfortunately I don't know what those are--but if we had some heads up warning flags back in the day, maybe we all would've went to more shows when we could still enjoy the music.
