Dear Last Call Poets !
Shame I haven't yet had the time
To let you know what, to us, matters :
Here's who we are, in a few words,
Or should I say, in a few letters ...
"Le Slamophone is a tribute
To this one lesson we've been missing
To these slam poets who remind us
To get along, we need to listen ..."

we sing
our heart-dreams
loudly into moonlit skies,
wishing upon flickers of light,
skipping our smooth hope-pebbles
along the wide ways of promise.
ripple, they do,
these echoed promises,
in thousands of shimmering circles
resonating our life’s expectancy
as we cast silken spun web-nets
trying to capture the elusive
understanding;
- – what it means
to be loved.

you,
your grace
wanders each
subtle life-note
each word
each gentle phrase
in rise and fall
as morning song
windows open
your soul
each breathless call
reaches higher praise
your life emerges
as starlit diamonds
from fiery coal
anvil struck
forged in trials
with faith and hope
you spark
you soar
blessings and best wishes,

A summer’s meditation
The morning garden
is still.
Softly, the growing dawn wakens
bird-song.
The long grasses, flowing - a gentle breeze
blending with roses, hyacinth and lavender;
wind chimes
singing
quietly melodic notes.
The garden center;
a cobalt blue vase fountain,
almost silent ripples of water
cascade over the rim
to mirror-black, smooth, glistening
pebbles. My eyes, steady, fixed,
focus above.
The clear sky, warm air wafting,
this morning yields, peacefully
to the slow heat of day.
Shadows shorten and hide from the sun
while we wait for the coolness of evening
to carry us home.

Yet
Moll doll his chin;
Her hair birch-
Broom-in-the-fits;
Chalk and cheese, they said;
Cradle and grave,
They said;
Yet-
You could smell
The smouldering, sparry,
Whenever they met.

Whats poppin' Last Call Poets......Wanted to share one of my favorite videos of all-time with you.....The Wu-Tang Clan broke all the rules. Nine MCs shared the mic, all with equal aplomb. ....The RZA helmed the production, and through a pastiche of breaks, Stax samples, and kung-fu dialogue, created an indelible ghetto-noir soundscape as alien as it was alienating.....“Can It Be All So Simple,” with its disembodied soul diva and hiccupping bass is a moment of poignant reflection. ....Hype Williams did a great job in directing the amazing video for the song and bringing Ghost and Rae's words to life......If you haven't peeped this video in a while, or if you have never seen it make sure you check out Wu-Tang's Classic "Can It Be All So Simple" Video today:

"The Page Screams Out" is a new track that I available have for FREE download and distribution. Dig it.
This is what I like most about MySpace, whereas we are able to share our music with others and by-pass a host of vultures that are unappreciative of the art but anxiously eyeing a prize that the art will provide, at the cost of...well...I guess that's those who buy music.

Hey
I just wanted to let you know I have reached 2000 friends ....so let this be a thank you for being one of them and doing what all good friends do by NOT caring.
anyway, Ive been really into slam poetry and have been performing around NYC at such events.
Heres a sample of something i might do at a slam:
" i then go into this coffeehouse and strike up a conversation
with this other writer about why men always have to do the hunting for women.
he takes out this half empty bottle and this half empty cup and says
"the bottle is the man and the cup is the woman
and the liquid inside is their hearts.
now their hearts are not gonna be complete until they find each other"
and then he asks me how i would go about doing that.
so i told him that i would pour the bottle into the cup.
he says "why not the other way around?"
and i reply "less chance of a spill" and he says "exactly......
see when a woman pours her heart into a man it just gets broken
and most of it spills on the floor, but when a man pours his heart
into the woman, the woman accepts ALL of him."
stay tuned to my blog section for more.

So it's a capital 'T' that's been hanging you up? Don't worry, it's only paint. And paint is easy to remove. If I was your mother and you were my daughter, you would be sleeping already. I wear these pajamas only on weekends. And you think that's healthy? People don't listen to their body until it's too late. I am not dramatic, I am merely being practical.

I'm looking forward the last call show I can make....
indeed a new bV cd...we should all meet up for drinks!
I plan to be at cryptic chatter
so I can bitch about what's the matter.
and rhyme in couplets so drab
stabbing at the little bits of freedom
that mock me.
(the gods don't pay me either)
