The car, a white four-door 1992 model Mazda Protege, reportedly with a BLUE interior, is considered a key clue in the unsolved homicide. "The car has black molding on both the driver's and passenger's side and it has rust on the lower door, fender and quarter panels," said Cmdr. Mark Blackson, In a BOLO (Be On Look Out) message, Det. Lt. Michael Gurley asked that if spotted, the agencies "OBSERVE ONLY," and immediately contact the sheriff's department. Blackson said Monday that the car belonged to the mother of Harris, 30, who was last seen in the Mt. Moriah area in Memphis about 11:30 p.m. New Year's night. The Shelby County license number on the car is 035 FNB. His body was found about 7:30 a.m. Jan. 2 near a ditch off State Line Road east of Miss. 301. He had been shot three times in the neck, with one of the shots killing him.
