hijitos mios,estas cosas os escribo para que no pequeis;y si alguno a pecado,abogado tenemos con el padre,a jesucristo el justo 1 juan cap;2:1 "nota"¿Por qué vivir abrumados por el peso de la culpa, si Jesús está dispuesto a olvidar nuestra vida pasada y a darnos siempre una nueva oportunidad?

Para entender mejor lo que Jesús está diciéndonos en el versículo de hoy, imagina que estás en un restaurante y que el mozo deja caer la comida sobre ti. El lo lamenta mucho, pide perdón y tú aceptas sus disculpas. Pero el hecho se repite luego en la hora de la cena, una y otra y otra vez. Ya estás con el pantalón, la camisa, la chaqueta y los cabellos manchados de comida, cuando el mozo aparece por séptima vez y, a pesar de todo el cuidado que tiene para evitar el accidente, derrama una vez más el postre encima de ti.

¿Qué harías? ¿Lo perdonarías ? Eso es lo que Jesús está diciendo. ¿Piensas que pediría algo de mí que no estuviese dispuesto a hacer conmigo?

El aspecto trágico del pecado no está en que Dios no pueda perdonar, sino en la triste realidad de que somos nosotros quienes no queremos perdonarnos.
Miles de personas andan por la vida anulados por el complejo de culpa. No logran sacarse de la cabeza el monstruo del autocastigo. No consiguen olvidar su pasado. No son felices.

Pero Jesús está mirándote: “Hijo, debes venir a mis brazos de amor. Yo ya olvidé tu pasado, ya pagué el precio de tu culpa; ven a mí y acepta mi perdón”. Finalmente, el versículo de hoy nos muestra la otra dimensión del perdón. Nunca aceptaremos el perdón divino si no estamos dispuestos a perdonar a nuestro hermano.

¿Tienes algo contra alguien? ¿Alguien te lastimó y eso no te deja ser feliz? Busca a tu hermano y abrázalo. Perdónalo así como Jesús está pronto a perdonarte.
