I just stopped by to let you know I posted two news songs that I wrote on my page yesterday. Please come by and listen to them. The first song "The Waiting Song" is for everyone who has a loved one overseas and the second song "Dance with Me" was inspired by a rumba I watched on Dancing with the Stars last year.

The Craic Festival 2009 has invited FairplayCollective to play at this years Festival. All members will be playing in the round. The show is at The Mercury Lounge, March 14th at 8pm. This is the last night of the festival and Foy Vance is also on the bill. What more can I say, a great night for music and film, with the odd star thrown in. Come show your support.

I pray to buddha that in the coming years intelligent discussion and dissenting opinions will not be smeared as “fag talk” by the theocratic thugs in this country Sue; but sadly our questioning of their propaganda will always make us elitist communist france-loving homos. I do however find some hope in the American people after their overwhelming rejection of the same old tired reactionary platforms put forth by the gop this year- it’s kinda funny; widespread poverty, unemployment, our illusionary economy imploding while we funnel all our tax dollars to clandestine war-profiteers, and the best they got is: “We’re gonna ban gay marriage, you betcha!!”.

Hey thanks, I'm sure the Dramatics appreciate it cause they likely never got paid for it. I love the use of the Echorec in a soul context. It's my favorite period of black music, that brief era from '67 - '72 where "soul has been psychedelicized".
