My favourite friend:

It has been some time since we last touched base.  I am just sending you this message to let you know that I love you and that we will always be friends.  No matter what--I will be here for you.  I love the photograph.  Nice one Viara!!  Love the songs and the music.  Please keep being focussed, and please remember that you are a talented person--all that you need now is your big break. 

I have not been well for some time now.  But I am not worse.  I have kept you on my front page, because I want you there.  Like Mark Thunderwolf--you will always be there.  You are people that I love and respect, and will not let you down.  I need to showcase you, but the only way that I can is to keep you there.  Do drop by sometime, and leave messages, because that way other people will see and  select you and help to build up your fan base.  I want that for you!

I hope that you are enjoying yourself.  Please be good to yourself and please have a wonderful weekend.  Thank you so very much for being my friend--for so long.  Will try to call you again.

Tried to call you but I think I made a mistake in dialing. Then got distracted so I will try again. You look more beautiful than ever. I love the new photograph. Very sophysticated, cute, and chicque. Have you noticed one of your songs on my Bio page? You should go and listen as well as take a look at my profile. Surely you have forgotten about me? I have not added anything to it of late even though there are things to add and remove. I must update it.


You are a very special friend LB. You take advicem,and you develope and expand and that is a great trait about you. I love what you are doing now, and you can see how far you have leapt from the beginnings to now. I am so very proud of you. I should come by more often, but I am banned from being on the computer. I will be OK soon. I have some good news to share with you and will talk on the phone or in an e'mail. But for you? You are a terrific success story, and I am very proud to call you my friend. Oh yes, you want to contact the Delta Blues Museum and they will give you the details for the Jazz Festival. You might find it on the Web. The Jazz and Blues Festival is held in Greenville Mississippi, not Greenwood. And it is too late for this year, but try getting on that circuit, and let me know when you are going so I can make the journey. We drove from Dallas to Greenville, and had a whale of a time as we travelled. We stopped in all the historic places or places that some people would not bother about, and had all the local food, see all the local sites, and just take in Mississippi modern and historical. Being Black, it means a lot to me. It is a spectacular place. You cannot go to Mississippi and do not try the river boats. The casinos are also great places to eat, and play if you are interested. The hotels are good. We stayed in town then drove out to where the Festival was being staged.
Think about it!

Darling it is so good to stop and listen for the past half an hour to you singing and playing. The transition is fantastic! It's a great leap, and I knew and trusted in you, and you have shone through magnificiently. I love the work in progress so very much. You have a fantastically unique voice that does what you want it to. I love your treatment of each song on the playlist. I adore the bluesy voice, and look, I just love your work so what else can I say? I am very proud of you--so very proud! You will reach the top and I am confident of that. I hope that you will try to get on to the programme for the Greenwood, Mississippi Jazz and Blues festival one year. It is usualy in September/October. I will get the details and let you have it. But there is a big break if you can get it. I will see what I can do and get you a booking. How's that if I can pull it off? I have obviously been there and loved it very much. It is an out door festival with all the big names in the business playing there. Good luck my friend. I love you very much. Have a wonderful week.

hi Viara! i'll see you soon, the flights are booked. i'm going to be in edinburgh from september 2nd in the morning to september 5th afternoon! it's a shame you have no gigs on those days, but we can work it out: maybe some busking. as a tourist, i won't be in a hurry, so i promise to stay, listen and give you money too!

it's so good to know that i can be back, even if it is for a few days only.

i'm happy you're going to play with your band in bulgaria too.
and i'm happy that i'm coming a couple of days before you're leaving: it would have been sad to come back without meeting my favourite singer!

i watched the video (and listened to): you're really doing what you said. i mean: using your balkan influences in your music. the song is amazing: when the band starts playing, it reminds me of jefferson airplane's White Rabbit (White Rabbit, Black Coffee... ...?), but you sing like a woman from the turkish empire and i love it.

well, that's my opinion anyway.
