In the early 90's I would see you inside of Delta Airlines, where I was working & we would always speak to each other. I was a member of West Angeles back in the late 90's. I wanted you to know that I am praying for you.

You blessed me & so many with your singing.

During the 92' unrest in L A you sang at a prayer breakfast in the Crenshaw area & I was there & heard you sing. President Bush was at my church the same day. Mount Zion with DR EV HILL, pastor

I grew up listening to your music on the radio. It's great to see you collaborating with today's artist. I have Lucinda's CD & DVD. I haven't heard a collab like that since "Don't Give Up" feat. Vanessa Bell Armstrong. I recently saw "He Brought Me Out" music video on GMC.
There's such a great annointing and conviction in your singing!

Thank you for the add. Daryl is one true amazing voice in the Gospel world. I used to listen to the late Brother Prince Dixon on the Gospel Caravan (KPFK, Los Angeles). Those were beautiful Sunday mornings.

My Mother's house was a Hawkins/Coley house as well as Crouch..My Mother also loved Carmen McRae's vocal styling..and thought you were/are Gospel's version of that..My favorite numbers from you are "His Love" live in Oakland...and "Nobody but the Lord" from Just Daryl..

Good morning Pastor Daryl. I pray that all is well with you. Thank you for adding me to your friends list. I certainly believe that God has great things in store for us, His children. So many things have changed since Ike, so I don’t know how much longer I will be online, but I thank God for this season and I don’t want to disappear without sending a word to you, my myspace friends.

Life is so interesting. It’s amazing how it comes and it goes. After 26 years, I can truly say that I am thankful for God’s Word in my life. When times get rough, I pick up my bible or recall The Word that has been hidden in my heart and find encouragement and strength to endure. It’s in His Word that I’ve discovered my purpose for living. I remember days not wanting to live anymore. In fact, if God had not kept me in the seasons when I didn’t want to be kept, I wouldn’t be here with the strength to live and even send such a message. I remember the negative words that not only others spoke against me, but that I spoke against myself. So for God to continue to show me His amazing love and keep me through all of that, I HAVE to worship Him and give Him the praise.

So much more could be said, but because I’ve been rebuked for long messages before, :-), this message is being sent to say be encouraged. HOLD ON to The Word and praise Him!!! Praise is a MIGHTY weapon. It’s a blessing to know that “this” (whatever obstacle(s) we encounter) too shall pass, just like every obstacle that has come before it. HALLELUJAH!!!
