Brooke, you have such a pure tone (very in vogue for ensemble singing of Renaissance) and the modern instrumentation supplements the vocal lines beautifully. I can't wait to hear what the final results will sound like when finished! It's also great to hear contemporary composers rebelling against the academic norm of modernism - there is still much new stuff to be found in old traditions, especially in the huge hidden treasure of Renaissance vocal works.

I went looking through the music section trying to find a link to write the writer about Happy (never did find one) and came across an article about your band. It sounded very interesting so I did a search here at MySpace and that's how I found your page. (my, that was convoluted, wasn't it?) Just based on the article I thought I would like you, and I thought you might like Happy. I'm glad to find that both things are true! The player is not working for me but I went to your web site and listened to the tracks. I'm especially besotted with Videntes Stellam Maji and Pilgrim. Wonderful stuff! I did a double-take when I saw that Happy was on your front page! I will definitely put you in the Thank You section.
