To record the guitars, it was my Engl Invader using Channel 2 with Hi Gain and Bright mode on one side, and the same but with Channel 3 on the other side, Channel 3 is a bit gainier and slightly scooped compared to Channel 2. All of it is with an Audix i5 and an Audix D6 doubling up for a bit of lower end.

All that is into my M-Audio FW1814, into Protools M Powered, which is then all quad tracked. I don't do anything less than quad tracking for my own stuff, I love it :D

Bass is just direct in with my OLP Stringray 5 string, bit of EQ and compression in PT :)

Hey man, I think I figured what I'm lookin for in a pickup. The Blaze Custom to has just mushy lows, not enough upper mids for the sharp palm muting I like, and it doesn't have nearly enough treble for the kind of bite I like. It's just the wrong pichup for me. I'm not even diggin its cleans anymore, it still has killer crunch tones though lol. I did manage to get a decent tone out of it after hours of tweaking with my POD, I'll send ya the clip once I get back to my PC.

I'm definately an EMG guy as every guitar I've played with EMGs just sounded killer to me. I'm thinking of trading it for a Dimarzio Evolution or a Duncan Invador, but to the main reason I'm messenging you, how much do you think I could sell this Blaze for considering how old it is? I found a dude on SS.org that's selling his Lundgren M7 and I'm just waiting for him to get back to me with the price.

Oh yeah, how's your VHT gear woking out? Did it finally replace your Vetta II? I also heard the Axeffet kills it too.

Oh yeah I also found a Vetta II for $975 that I think I can pick up locally. You think this amp would be better than me getting a tube amp? Well I know you use it lol.

Eventually I'd like to order a custom carvin though, they are KILLER guitars... I think this is like my 12th Carvin now (first DC-727 though)! I'll call you this week sometime man! :)
