I use a 2 channel USB interface. Can take mics or guitar direct into it. For electric guitar I run from the line out on my amp into it. Otherwise I just run a mic. Then on the computer I use a program called Magix Music Maker basic edition. It has a ton of sound/drum loops, as well as a bunch of effects and mastering options.Its the best free app that Ive found so far. Check out the remix. I did the first version with a free app called Krystal which was just a recorder/mixer. Yeah Im having a blast playing with it. I remixed the first verse of the song I wrote using the new amp and a new recording application. I think it turned out pretty good.

I got a behringer GMX 210. Which is a 60W 2x10 combo with a ton of effects to choose from. I am lovin it! It sounds great, even sometimes when Im playin. lol I can get everything from mellow blues to thrashing metal and everywhere in between. So yeah let me know when youll be around we'll see if we can break something with our noise!

Dangit, your about 1 day late with the amp offer. I just ordered a 60w 2x10 combo. Its cool though cause I wanted something with a bunch of built in effects. We should definitely get together. I am not very good yet (only been really playing since this spring), but I always welcome the chance to jam and possibly learn something cool. Call me when you get into town Im pretty much free any night or all weekend from now until march. lol

my wife and i moved to cambridge, mn about 7 months ago. we really like it here. she is pregnant with our first child and is due on april 1. we are pretty excited.

Good stuff! I didnt know you played gutar. I just went to Guitar center today bought my first "NICE" acoustic guitar. I also have a couple electrics a small amp and some recording equipment. I am looking for a nicer amp, then I should be set for a while. I have one song recorded. If you want to hear it go to http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=753054.
