I played one for years, till I got electrocuted playing a show in front of 500 people. I couldn't let go of the metal neck, I had to wait till someone pulled out the plug on my amps. The doctor said just a few more seconds and I wouldn't be here today. The next time you plug in the TB, make sure your playing through a grounded system!

Travis Bean eh...
I bought a TB2000 bass from Bandstand Music in Tacoma Wa. back in th 70's - s/n 0495.
What I really remember about it was that it was the only bass I ever played that went sharp as it warmed up -thermal expansion of the neck I suppose. That and having to use SimiChrome to clean up the neck oxidation and discoloration. I ended up trading it for a 68 Precision after about a year. Still have the P-Bass.

After a period of time developing hollow bodied aluminium guitars with cast aluminium necks and the intention of producing good quality instruments with good acoustics and sustain as an alternative to traditional wooden ones,Peter Longfellow will be showing two guitars in the "Hidden"exhibition at the Royal College of Art galleries from the 19th to the 25th of October.
