Friends & Family,

I am proud to announce the birth of my new T Shirt line "JAZZ-INFLUENCED". It was conceived a couple month ago with idea of representing Jazz and it's influences on world and urban music. As a DJ and music lover, it was always the foundation of every type of genre I ever listened to and appreciated since the age of 12. Collecting old jazz records because it was used in Hip Hop samples or appreciating the jazz instrumentation in Latin, House, AfroBeat & World music. Jazz will always be who I am as a person and these genres will alway be a part of my playlist and what i represent musically. So, because of this inspiration I have for what I love and appreciate, I present to you my new "JAZZ-INFLUENCED" T Shirt.

This shirt can be purchased at www. myspace. com/djmarcelinorivera through Pay Pal. It's only available in black at this time but if it's supported we will provide it in different colors. The sizes run from small to 4XL for $20.

Thank You for taking time to read this,

DJ Marcelino

Los Reyes Mago
(The Three Kings)
There are many different theories and symbolism behind the three kings. One of which is that they were not kings but humble wise men skilled in astronomy.
There is no written record as to how many wise men there actually were, only reference to the three different gifts they offered.
In Christianity, the number three is often used and is symbolic of the Holy Trinity.
In Three Kings lore, the number three also symbolizes the three races of mankind, European, Asian and African. They are also often depicted as an Arab, Asian, and African, and sometimes as three wise men from Persia.
The gifts they bore were also symbolic and of double meaning.

Melchior was from Arabia and was the smallest in stature. He brought gold as his offering. Gold is a symbol of kingship symbolizing virtue on earth and in heaven.
Balthazar was from the orient and brought frankincense as his offering. Frankincense was used as a perfume and was also a symbol of priest ship symbolizing prayer.
Gaspar, the third king, and traditionally the tallest of the Magi, was an African from Ethiopia. He was known as the “Master of the Treasure” and brought the gift of myrrh. Myrrh was commonly used as anointing oil in life, and embalming oil in death. It is a symbol celebrating life and also symbolizes death and suffering.

It is without a doubt that the Boro of the Bronx makes the ideal setting for a closing event. The Bronx Boro President Adolfo Carrion and ILM Marketing Group Inc present the Grand Finale festival of the year.

The Festival will consist of top musical groups, special guest appearances, raffles, children's games, prizes, voter registration centers, health care screenings and service information, employment and career awareness and a large variety of ethnic foods for everyone to enjoy.

Our Celebration takes place on Saturday, the 11th of October, 2008. The event will run from the hours of 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. between 149th Street and 156th Street on 3rd Avenue in the Bronx. Come and join us ..
