It will get full and, yes, it really will start at six. Come early and stay til it all comes to a crashing halt around 11. Afterall, it's the night before a Bank Holiday and, hey, those bankers deserve a rest.

It was shocking. There were people sat round drinking beer and having a good time talking to each other as if they had nothing better to do. That was the worst International Tee-Totalers Federation annual frown i've ever been to ... let me know when it's on again next year eh!!

Thanks Attila and Alex, and everyone else involved.

We had a great time.

I profusely thanked the farmer's wife on Sunday afternoon - or was she the farmer? So hopefully that'll hope to convince her to let you use it next year. Brilliant venue. Brilliant event.

I've got about 50 photos including a few corkers.

Despite it being the noisiest campsite I've ever experienced me n the family will be back for more next year.

I'll try and write up a proper review sometime but, off the top of my head, the highlights were....

the beer

AND...

the mighty King Blues - how did they pull off such a brilliant set without their singer?
Dates
Otway
Richard Durrant
Drookit Dogs
Fractured
Ahrefn

I didn't see all the bands so don't assume I didn't rate you.

AND OF COURSE...

Attila, whose passion, humour and righteous humanity loomed large over the event. A beautiful thing to behold.

Thanks again, and see you next year.

Hi John,

If you get to read this I will be available for a bar slot, probably on the Saturday at Glastonwick. I will call/speak soon.
Another thing - Spoke with T V Smith on Friday night & bought his diaries. As you probably know he includes a whole chapter covering his first tour of Germany with you & your Mum. Sends his regards & all that.

Regards,

John H.
