The War on Terror metaphor has always been quite clear in the series, but last night it was taken to a whole new level.

Sadly, several people I spoke with today in my store thought it went over the top, trying to "create sympathy for the [insurgents] in Iraq." Science Fiction has always been a vital element in the examination of present day, and the fact that this has been lost on some folks saddens me. I applaud the bold direction the series has taken, and I will not move from my couch until the show returns next week.

Keep up the excellent work, BSG is by far the best written show on television, drama, sci-fi, or otherwise.

I am so glad you are back...but wait...what are you doing...you can't kill ******!!! Also i am glad you are using the word "insurgent" in a positive light. Last nights season premeire was possibly one of, if not THE best openers I have EVER SEEN!! I even sat through the commercials so I wouldn't miss anything! To put it mildly IT WAS FRAKING AWESOME!
