L'après-midi à 15h à la Médiathèque (place de la Cathédrale, 14), ce sera gratuit. La version longue le soir à l'An Vert avec MADADAYO en première partie, début de la soirée vers 20h30. Jozef Van Wissem est un compositeur et joueur de luth établi à New-York mais originaire de Maastricht. Réputé pour son approche inhabituelle du luth de la renaissance et du luth baroque, Jozef Van Wissem coupe, colle, déconstruit des morceaux classiques, inverse les mélodies, y ajoute ses propres compositions et des enregistrements d'ambiance captés dans des gares ou des aéroports. Mélangeant composition et improvisation, Jozef Van Wissem parvient à créer un amalgame étonnant de folk contemporain et de musique de style fin Renaissance, sans prise de tête mais tout en respectant fidèlement la technique du luth. Madadayo est un film réalisé par Akira Kurosawa, c'est aussi le nom d'un duo liégeois de musiciens/bricoleurs qui qualifient eux-même leur projet de "brocante cinématique et auditive". A l'aide de deux guitares et de bricolages divers, Madadayo propose une musique poétique et expérimentale, basée sur l'improvisation; où se côtoient ambient éthéré, noise délicat, et post-rock mélancolique.
