Sgt. Pepper's Only Dart Board Band will be remembering John Lennon in the week of his anniversary at the Cavern, this Saturday 12th December.
We'll be playing two sets at 3.15 and 5.15 in the famous "original" space.
Admission free before 5pm.

It was always intended that "Who's Tommy? - A Life in Rock Opera" would be released as a paperback, but time, and will power, have reduced it to a serialised blog on the Sgt. Pepper My Space site. Having said that, it has probably reached far more readers than it would have, if tucked away in the dark recesses of a few bookshops and public libraries .
This is probably the final Chapter- there is one more- but this one seems to round the project off for now. The chapter catalogues how my obsession with rock operas led to the stage project "All You Need is Love" and the spin off into Sgt. Pepper's Only Dart Board Band. There's a little diversion in there too of my appalling attempt to audition for the "Elvis" musical in London, which might amuse.
It's been some time since I posted a chapter. Other events have held it up. So, to those of you who have subscribed to this outpouring of self indulgence, and to those who have just browsed it from time to time, thanks for your patience, and occasional comments. I promise not to bother you with any more well worn anecdotes.

hello fantastic british beatles fans club,..

this sunday (8th feb) see's me do a 2 hour "beatles bonanza" ,... at -
the 'l.m.r.c.a. club' on navigation road in altrincham.
(the club is 10 seconds walk from the navigation road tram station)

aswell as me singing loads of rare beatles songs,..
.... and the 'huge medley' from abbey road,...


.....i'll be doing -

** a beatles quiz,... with some "fab" prizes.
** show rare and unseen 8mm and 16mm home movies
(including one with tony wilson and me being "beatle-ish in liverpool)
** there will be my usual stands selling stuff, which this month includes -
1960's beatle bubble gum cards, beatles monthlies, beatles books/mags
and records, special beatle badges,... and loads more 'fab - gear' items.
** plus the usual raffle and the skiffle competition (bring your own washboard)

Since serialising Martin Dimery's "Who's Tommy?- A Life in Rock Opera" on Sgt. Pepper's Only Dart Board Band's My Space site, a growing and often returning readership of thousands have been registered on the blog.
This latest hilarious instalment recounts Martin's transformation into a Roger Daltrey doppelganger in the tribute "Who Two".
Martin's autobiography "Being John Lennon" is still available in paperback from all major retailers. Volume 2 "The Tragical History Tour" is available in e book format from Mobipocket and other e book distributors.
