For This Cycle (NEW-OLD…	Jan 4, 2009 4:50 PM HELLO YOU!!! I will be playing at the Esplanade Outdoor Theater this Friday and Saturday, the 9th and 10th of January at 7.30 PM! This will be the first time I will be accompanied by a full backing band featuring local hero Daniel Sassoon (ex-Electrico, IEHAC), Jordan Cheng (ex-Rafe, IEHAC), producer Roland Lim (IEHAC), and my brother Ze Wen Seah (Baked)! Hearing Rage Against The Machine again after so many years was great fun. And that guy who won the cell phone was great too, what a surprise!! Thanks for playing Tom Sawyer, that was great fun (by the way, have you ever heard the cover of Tom Sawyer by Mindless Self Indulgence? It's quite extreme!!!!!!!!). I'm looking forward to hearing the Trooper next time I see you. I hope you have a big Union Jack to swoosh around from the top of your Marshall Amps. Thanks also for playing two songs from your album. I bought it soon after it came out, and it's great. My favourite songs on it are Newfound Jealousy, Snow, Shouldn't We Try, and You. I think it's interesting that, although you are a fantastic rocker, it's your mellower songs that appeal to me more (of course, Window sounds great live). Do you ever play all-original sets? I like Singapore bands a lot - the Oddfellows, Force Vomit, Objection Overrule, Astreal, and Lunarin. Always looking for more. Keep on rockin' in the free world, Shirlyn... best, Peter
