Dog loves her new basket. I keep telling her she is honoured to have such a doggy heirloom!(o:
Will be heading out west again in the spring.

Hi Nic, Great to hear from you and to join your very many deserved friends on here! I, like everyone else, was awe inspired from the day I first heard you perform, not only for your singing and playing which was better than anything else I'd heard before or heard since...but also for your wicked/side splitting sense of humour and breathtaking humility - neither of which, clearly, you have lost...:-). I was just sitting here wondering if you ever recall the split lip I sustained on John Adams's stag night in Derby Town centre in (I think) 1971/2? I still have a slight scar...:-). Anyway - I hope you and Julia and family are well and happy (as you all well deserve to be). It would be nice to meet up for a beer sometime and shoot the breeze as they say after all these years.

Thank you for the friendship. We have actually traveled 1,000's of miles and sailed together for years. Your "Canadeeio" is one of my absolute favorite songs of all time. Your guitar work is brilliant and inspiring and your vocals take me to another place and time. Thanks.

If you just happen to be anywhere near Atlanta, Georgia this October, I'd love to invite you to my partner, Brooks Hunnicutt's annual "Brookstock" held at her horse ranch (RSVP only....but some of the finest musicians around ) about an hour away. Just let me know.

Once drove an old sedan, up north,
From a place in Sydney to Cairns;
Then to Kuranda I went forth,
By train, to look without set plans.

I browsed through the trendy market,
With fresh fruits of tropical kind;
Walked to the creek through lush thicket -
Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.

I dined in a scenic cafe;
Then, outside, as I wrote for yen,
Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey,
You go walkabout with your pen.”

Request or question, I don’t know -
Assured voices, elderly men.

I've had & loved Penguin Eggs for a couple of years now, ever since i investigated where Dylan had stumbled upon Canadee-i-o.
I recently bought your Unearthed record and it is without doubt the most spellbinding collection of songs i've ever heard.
I would love to have a go at playing some of the songs and was wondering if you have ever published any of your guitar tabs?
