At this time the Band "ONE" (= Our + New + Earth) is" re-tooling" and our new material and show are a bit harder more aggressive...We are doing some small local shows here in the Lake Arrowhead area to get rolling and work out the kinks. We also have some #3 older of our older tracks from our previous album just came out on an "Indie Bands Unite" compilation album this month! (Available NOW!!!) Le 25 septembre, c'est la rentrée pour la Fonky Fraîche Party au LH (Le Havre), toujours au Cabaret Electric, toujours gratuit, et toujours avec une ambiance de dingue!! Cette année, les invités seront tout aussi prestigieux que l'année précédente..alors, see ya there?! Dj Suspect (Zulu Nation/Paris) Dj Suspect, pierre angulaire de la Zulu Nation, protégé de Dee Nasty, est devenu en peu de temps un dj incontournable en France, après avoir tenu tete en live aux plus grands dj's internationaux (pete rock, bambaataa, marley marl, red alert, cash money et bien d'autres) et en sortant des maxis explosifs!! Ce soir, il nous présentera son tout nouveau cd "the full circle", condensé de spicy grooves et de funky breaks! Les Bboys et Bgirls du LH n'ont qu'à bien se tenir! Phuncky Doyen (Zulu Nation/CaenTown) Né la même année que la prestigieuse Zulu Nation fondée par Afrika Bambataa (1973), Phuncky Doyen est un amoureux du Hip Hop depuis plus de 20 ans. Véritable vynilophile, il anime l'émission Hip Hop Syndrôme sur Radio 666 à Caen depuis plus de 10 ans!! Il organise des évènements Hip Hop tels que les "Stéreotype Party" ou les "Hip Hop Syndrome Session" en invitant ses potes de renommée tels que Dee Nasty, Dj Suspect, Kohndo ou Sept et Lartizan pour faire monter la mayonnaise...et il la fera monter ce soir avec un set Hip Hop Funk à faire ressuciter M.J en personne! Ceci est un commentaire à caractère prétendument informatif qui s'efforce d'attirer votre attention sur cet évènement : PISTOL DISCO (s) + PWR (s) seront en concert dimanche 30 août au Mc Daids (97 rue Paul Doumer, Le Havre) 19h30 \| 4€ ::::::::::::::: A l'occasion de leur tournée "Eurograail '09", ces deux groupes suédois hors du commun font une escale au Havre. Voici quelques éléments d'information : PISTOL DISCO traînent un passif bruitiste certain (style Suicide sous acide, si c'est possible), mais au cours des années et des enregistrements, ils ont su faire émerger les mélodies et les atmosphères qui se cachaient derrière leur radicalité distordue. Leur troisième album, "Evergreen" (Celebrity Lifestyle Records), qui vient de sortir, est l'accomplissement de ce travail vers la profondeur. On pourrait presque dire que le duo (batterie / synthés / voix sporadiques) pratique une musique d'ambiance, pleine de textures sonores et de superpositions de couches, SI l'on veut bien admettre qu'une ambiance puisse être sous haute tension. Bref, un délice pour les oreilles (protections auditives fournies). http://www.pistoldisco.com http://celebritylifestylerecords.com http://www.myspace.com/pistoldisco PWR : ce one man band est une espèce d'ovni ambient piégeux, avec des basses profondes, des chausse-trappes et des mélodies faussement naïves chantées au vocoder. Il a remixé un morceau de Pistol Disco (qui lui ont rendu la politesse semble-t-il).
