I wanted to let you know about a special contest I'm holding. I hope you'll consider entering it and I hope your friends do too.

Ever want to get revenge on a school bully, or an ex-best friend, or a teacher, co-worker or even your husband or boyfriend? Well, now you can kill them off--fictiously, of course in my "Create a Corpse Contest". ;-)

From now until July 30th, 2009, submit a name (first & last) of someone you know--or a fictious name. You can even submit your own name if it fits what I'm looking for. lol

I need a male name, suitable for a 50-ish cigar-smoking man.

Hello my lovely friend! It seems like forever since I've talked to you. :(

I have a new haunt now so maybe one day you can drop by. I'm writing at the new Starbucks at 17th St and 39th Ave.

I keep thinking about River of Ghosts and wonder if it's been recorded yet. I am selfish, I know, but I soooo want to hear it with all the bells and whistles.

I still can't believe you wrote me a song for my novel The River.

Hi Alexia! I met you and picked up one of your cds at Cheryl's book launch. I usually listen to it in the car (so I never have it in the house), but when I looked for you here on MySpace your song played on your page and my son(he's 13 months old) started dancing to it!! It was SO cute! Guess I'll have to play it inside now so he can boogie!

hey, i finally picked up your ep after having listened to flying machine and home on your myspace all christmas lol. one of my jobs is at !ndigo in south common and after my shift i picked up your cd and brenda said you used to be the gm there!?? that's awesome! i love working there and brenda mentioned that you were an awesome gm. too bad i missed you but i'd pick the music any day :). can't wait for the new album.

hope your christmas was great and relaxing and full of family and that you didn't have to battle any other flu bugs etc etc. still hope you come play a show for us :)

By looking at Lara's comment it sounds like y'all have some good road stories.

I don't know if you've been listening in but Episode 54 of IndieCan Radio features a Calgary band, ONCE JUST and while I was in an Oh Alberta (Elliot Brood reference) mood, I added one of your songs. thanks alexia. yeah, i love singing with julie. she has a myspace site, but it doesn't do her justice, in my opinion. we used to play "sweet lorraine", is that a patti griffin tune? Maybe patti larkin. have a good tour.
