I said I worked at the East Meadow Pearl and they knew all about it... they were even aware that the store had moved recently. Geoff, the manager travels around the country at times on business, and I suppose part of that is stopping in at other art stores to check out prices or what-not... but yeah, it's really cool. Very small... kinda like Reibe's (is that how it's spelled?) in Huntington. Not too much (hardly any) in the way of craft items. Primarily fine art and there's a drafting section. So .. yeah... good stuff! I heard about Pearl in Selden. Jim said that they offered Kurt the warehouse manager job and he turned it down?

Chris	Aug 20, 2008 10:07 PM I got a new job working for Utrecht Art Supply... they were very impressed (in awe) that I had worked for Pearl! Haha! It's a really cool place... very small store though. Only 9 employees counting myself and the two managers.
