Hey! Thanks for the b-day wishes last week! I don't on here much anymore so I got back up on comments and messages. =) I'm gonna be in SA this Friday doing a photo shoot and auditioning an actor from ATX from a short film I'm shooting next month. I wish I could stay another day to check out the SAL Film Fest.

O DAR DAR!! I LOVE YOU LOVE YOU LOVE YOU!! Your photo comments had me laughing for a while!! The Waldo one had me laughing so hard tears actually formed!! LOL! Thank you for that! I wish we lived even closer! Next time we get together I will have enough sleep so my kid patience level is higher...I PROMISE!! :2)

I may go check it out depending on the weather. I hope I can make it.

By the way I've totally revamped the lab room for the film and pulled back on some detail to match the overall look. I kept the old one, but this new one looks more realistic and makes it easier for me to animate. I also tested inserting a chroma-keyed real live actor in the scene and it looks great. I'll send it to you and Andy once I perfect it a bit more. It's way better than the one I sent a few days ago. Making a clean room look realistic is harder than it would be for something more industrial. After I do another test animation or two and show it to Andy he may want to do some reshoots of an extra in front of chrome key to put in the room for some establishing shots.

It would look great. I'll send it to you guys next week.

Yes. I had to shed that DJ name because it is once again used by it's original artist and is relateing to ilevents and some horride incident at the Blue Star. i started that page out of state with no pseudobuddha dJ on yahoo searches. It got spellt wrong for some reason and I got stuck with it. i wanted a new chance and I wanted to try and use one name I bred for myself. The Southwest Yankee. Also other accounts have had worms or whatnot.

The Film Day SA Festival, in association with Luminaria: Arts Night in San Antonio and CineStudio San Antonio, will be screening Local Filmmakers short films.



This ONE DAY ONLY EVENT will be held Saturday, March 14, 2009.



The University of Texas at San Antonio Downtown Campus, 501 W. Durango Blvd. The screening will be held in the Sam Riklin Auditorium (Buena Vista Building, BV 1.326).



Doors open at 1 PM, and will end at 4:30 PM.



Free Parking on Unmarked Student Spaces at the Following Lots:


Cattleman's Square Parking Lot

Durango Loop Parking Lot

Lot D1-D5 (underneath IH-35 Bridge)



Film Day SA will be screening the film submissions from Luminaria in a large, 200-seat auditorium, ensuring the best presentation for each short film. The public is welcomed to watch local films, interact with local directors, producers and actors.



Afterward, the audience is encouraged to visit the Luminaria festivities,which are only a little more than a mile away.
