AlexAlex Simon	Nov 3, 2006 3:47 AM We carved some pumpkins, got dressed up, and waited for the kids to come by so we could give them candy. Not a single person knocked on our door. We saw those little bastards across the street, but when we waved and yelled, "We have candy!" they just kept on walking. We eventually grabbed our candy and took it to the streets! We passed out candy to the little kids we saw (one was an awesome Ninja Turtle: Leonardo, I think) and generally made asses of ourselves. Our block is kinda weird in that it's all condos with gates that don't have direct access to the sidewalk, but it's surrounded by neighborhoods with houses so you get a lot of passers-by. Unfortunately they were all on the other side of the very busy street and I guess the parents didn't want to cross it with little kids in tow.
