Because when testings come (and they WILL come "IF" you are Walking right), WE will either TRUST God's purposes and FIND Peace, OR "we" can Trust in our OWN plans, start walking in the "Vanity of our mind", thereby developing a NEGATIVE OUTLOOK or DISPOSITION and thus DEVELOPING A BITTER, and CYNICAL heart. We may NOT like our situation (and in MOST cases "we" WON'T), BUT, because WE "Are CHRISTIANS"; because we are a "Chosen Generation; because we are a Royal Priesthood; because we are a Holy Nation and a Peculiar People"...WE... "SHOULD"... LOVE...GOD and WE...MUST...TRUST..."HIS"...WILL FOR OUR LIVES! The Bible says "And going a little further, He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me, nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire" (Matt.26:39 AMP). The Bible also says "For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome" (Jer.29:11 AMP). RRM, [Even though] we ARE living in the "Last and Evil days" (here on planet Earth; where Men's hearts have "Waxed Cold"), God's TRUTH is ALWAYS at hand and is "STILL" available to ALL who SINCERELY want it, HOWEVER, the READINESS to "Receive" that TRUTH is [more often than not] Lacking and or Absent from the equation all together. Those who [WANT] to hear from God WILL, because it is written that "He is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him", Amen?! And one [SURE] way to hear from Father God, is to CONSISTENTLY search the scriptures ("study to show yourself approved onto Him").......CONVINCED that He WANTS TO reveal Himself to "US" through His Word. NEGLECTING the scriptures (on the other hand), indicates a LACK of interest in "Receiving" God's TRUTH, and tends to cause US to "Walk in the VANITY of our own mind", (deceiving OURSELVES)...PREVENTING us to "Rightly Divide" [God's] Word of TRUTH, Amen? The Bible says "Now these [Jews] were better disposed and more noble than those in Thessalonica, for they were entirely ready and accepted and welcomed the message [concerning the attainment through Christ of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God] with inclination of mind and eagerness, searching and examining the Scriptures {DAILY} to see if these things were so". (Acts 17:11 Amp.) The Bible also says "You search and investigate and pore over the Scriptures diligently, because you suppose and trust that you have eternal life through them.
