TIM TIM WILLIAMS	Sep 11, 2008 11:52 PM Well it's hard to believe it's been 26 years ago since the fair took place at Knoxville. I went to this fair aprox. 20-25 times. I had a season pass. I was 16 years old in 1982, as of 2008, I am now 42. I was at Knoxville on July, 2008. I went to the top of the Sunsphere to the observation deck. I remember doing that in 1982 at the fair. Tina tina torrance	Jan 11, 2008 1:11 AM 1982 was my Sr. year at UT. Worked at The Fish Market waiting tables. Made tons of $$$$ and spent most of it next door at Ruby Tuesday's where some friends worked. Now my oldest is a Jr. at Ut. Talk about a blast from the past!!!

sassafras	Nov 3, 2007 7:43 AM one time in 1998 when i was studying abroad in mexico city, we took a field trip 2 hrs away to taxco, known for its fine silver. long story short, at the end of the day i got lost and got left by the bus! so i continued shopping. i was brousing one shop when lo and behold, there in the middle of mexico i came across a mother-trucking 1982 world's fair t-shirt! and i knew i wasn't alone anymore. the sunsphere is always lookin out for its own, that's what i learned.
