but yeah, guess what i found out! but you probably know this already.. they're showing beowulf in regular theatres.. dun dun dun. lol

im happy though that i got to experience the imax-ness minus the price.. and perhaps regret lol. thanks a lot again diona =D

im sorry im lame and work at ohare and cant really give you a hookup unless you're traveling elsewhere =P lol

i think it's a northside thing though cause everyone from northside had crazy skills in doing stuff last minute, and doing it well. too bad i didn't develop that skill >_<

im jealous about your math class.. im taking stats right now and its kicking my butt.

but yeah.. i don't know how the nightmare before xmas went. i wish i went but i was studying for an exam which i ended up getting a C in =(

i suck at studying. lol

see.. there's another plus to art school. no tests! ..right? haha just big projects that take up weeks? (but you actually enjoy doing) hehe

and wow i can't believe you guys still have transporters.. isn't it out on dvd?? haha

speaking of 3D movies, krystle and feeny are going to watch nightmare before xmas in 3D haha. i remember liking that movie when i was younger..

oh, and yeah no worries. i get paranoid if ever i work with superglue. or not paranoid but annoyed cause anything that comes into contact with that stuff is doomed. lol

lastly. DANGG 12 hours? that must be pretty sweet. haha

ps. i like how our comments have different subjects kindaish lol. new definition to 'commenting' =)

haha beowulf was the movie i saw when i thought of you! and yeah i agree with the transformers being overhyped.. but they had it at the imax too?? that wouldve been interesting hehe

i don't know how i'd do with 3D flicks tho. the last time i saw one was at the museum of science of industry when my mom worked there (cool right!! lol) and we watched something on bugs and the glasses kinda got me dizzy after awhile..

i don't think i'd survive as an art student. cause i'm realllly cheap lol. superglue would probably be my best friend. hahaha horrible thing to say =P

and wow. she manages to get 8hrs.. that's crazy. i get at least 6, most 7.. but i still fall asleep in class! how many hours are YOU dealing with?!

oh yeah.. projects. fun stuff =)

btw, remember how northside had the random art projects all over the school that like dealt with random objects? (ok sucky explanation lol).
ie. giving the vending machine slot eyes and a nose so that the slot is its mouth..

well, uic started doing it too! there was a "brick chair" against one of the brick walls.. lol sorry random

but yeah.. i understand about the expensiveness of art supplies, especially for good quality supplies cause quality actually matters =/

and that girl you were talking about is quite impressive.. i need to work on my scheduling or at least prioritize better cause im not doing well and im only taking the min. amount of credits to be considered a full-time student! agh. horrible.

hehe btw, whenever i see something "IMAX" i think of you.. "diona gets/got to see that movie for free!" lol sorry im lame =P

and yeah i have slow times at ohare too (considering i work at the yogurt place taro owns, not the crazy manchu woks or hotdog stands) so i value the periods i don't have any customers.

speaking of which.. that made me wonder: you guys don't get hw?? LUCKY!!

lastly, you should go for a job at ur school.. sounds like it would be not only easier but maybe even more fun?

or if u really need the cash get two jobs? im working two jobs! but the other one is as a receptionist for my doctor but i do more filing then anything else and she pays me minimum wage.. under the table kind of stuff. i just need a recommendation =P hehe

yeah, i don't wanna work anymore once i go into my last two years cause i heard it was super hard and im worried..

i was thinking about it, and working at the imax shouldnt be that hard for u cause you go to school downtown anyway? do you work after school or weekends? cause if it is after school, you're already in the area! tada! haha

that's cool that you guys pre-screenings though.. i have another friend who works at the theatres (not as cool as you and your imax haha) and he said that he got pre-screenings too.. and yummm.. nachos and popcorn.. its kinda like working in one of taro's stores. lol

and wait.. what do you mean by "we need the extra seating"? that's pretty cool though that you can bring people in. that's awesome power lol (im lame =P)

but yeah.. i thought you didn't like working at ohare?? or at least our company.. haha. i think im gonna quit.. but if i do quit itll be before the fall semester next year starts

haha we actually were at crown theatre for the harry potter thing.. i have yet to experience the imax "magic"! haha

and aww im sorry about school. i remember u being pretty talented tho, i still (randomly) have that crane u made a long time ago.. lol i dont know if u remember giving it to me.

and yes, sadly i am still at ohare. i guess i can't really complain though 'cause pays not bad and the scheduling so far is awesome.. just kinda sad that ive been with the company for almost 3 years O_O.

what do ya do at the imax? and you get to watch movies in there for free don't you... so lucky! i bet you never go to regular theaters after being (repetitively) exposed to the imax haha
