Men and woman who sacrificed and many who even lost their lives towards this struggle. Men and woman whose purpose, passion, and love for our community provided great strides towards our prosperity. Individuals like Toussaint L'Ouverture, Malcolm X, Patrice Lumumba, Martin R. Delany, Kwame NKrumah, Marcus Garvey, Jomo Kenyatta, WEB Du Bois, Nat Turner, Kwame Ture, and so many more. Our freedom fighters our heroes, let us honor them on this day. In Unity!
