Just had to let you know that I am touring Scotland this August ( Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and Glasgow). and I invite you come on down and catch a show. All the shows feature Scottish singer/songwriter Yvonne Lyon.

Acoustic Idols - the Edinburgh songwriter awards - will take place this year at The GRV (formerly The Left Bank) on Sunday 18th May. Advertising and sign-up for the voting will be distributed shortly.

BEST CD - PLEASE SEND YOURS IN

There will be a 'BEST CD' category again this year. To be included, please send your CD to

Acoustic Idols, 16 Teviotdale Place, Edinburgh EH3 5HY.

To qualify:

- it must have been released in 2006 / 7 / 8, and been on sale / distributed at an Edinburgh acoustic club / showcase
- it mustn't have been entered in Acoustic Idols 2006
(for list see http://www.rblmusic.com/idols%20full%20list.htm)
- it must have a reasonable amount of original music, and be classifiable as 'Acoustic'
