MINDTRAIN can confirm a stellar line up of raga drone chamber improv folk jazz delights...seriously...DELIGHTS from the wondrous 7hertz, a contemporary classical outfit with strong elements af eastern european folk and improvized jazz elements, akin in my tattered mind to A Hawk and a Hawksaw jamming with Eric Dolphy under the musical direction of Bela Bartok on a Okhotnichya binge, and John Fairhurst, a guitarist to stun and astound fans of Davey Graham and Robbie Basho and enrapture lovers of eastern tinged acid folk ...more tbc plus the usual bad-ass vinyl recherche cornucopia of eastern european psychedelia, Tropicalia, tripped out femme folk, sleazy sitar beats, library uber-rarities,funked up, fuzzed out free jazz and wild eyed, hair farming rock and roll...more tbc. how we spoil you! all in the salubrious cozy confines of Didsburys Pinteresque palladium the ART OF TEA only £3 in on the night!!!

Alright Davy
I want to get the word out about this Tuesday at de bees and thought as you are one very much central to the great group of heads based around here you might be able to help.
The acoustic 8 night we do has already got a great rep. amongst the regular faces, as you know! this Tuesday is going to be a little bit special and I'd love everybody who'd appreciate it to be there, obviously would be amazing for the artists as well.
I'd like to offer you the chance to have your own guest list, as you already know it's more important to us to have an appreciative audience than door money, so we'll let anyone you invite in for free.
The reason I'm doing this...quality wise this is going to be a belter and I'd like it to be full.
Pete and J are a breathtakingly fast emerging US independent folk/rock acoustic duo with the sort of gorgeous harmonies and finger picking acoustic guitar goodness that thousands mimic but few ever master.
Good words spread fast and come 2006 the duo were getting regular comparisons to Simon and Garfunkel, appearing on compilations alongside Emmy Lou Harris and Blues Traveler and were on their way to tour the UK on the back of an invite from a major record label. They're now back in the UK for a third time inspired by the cries of promoters desperate to have them back...
Paul Wilkes is supporting, Paul is the most popular artist with Pollen8 and one we have chosen to support over the last 2 years. Paul's definitive EP release is set for September on the Pollen8 recordings Label. Tonight Paul will be selling signed pre-release copies, the very first chance anyone will have to obtain a copy of this beautifully crafted collection of the favourite of Paul's songs.
I'll send you a message as well to discuss further.
Cheers
Damon

Hey man, hope all is well.
Working full time (inc. evenings at the mo) so unfortunately gigs are a bit of a no-go at the moment, which is a bit shite seeing as I managed to synchronise it with a BJM tour.

On the up side, word on the street is that the Asteroid #4 are back here in August so that'd more than make up for it.

Take it easy fella.

having talked it over with my family I have decided against moving to spain for this coming season as I feel I will find it tough to adapt to the warm climate. You will be pleased to hear I have spoken to my agent and he agrees a move to 'kelly's plumbers' is a fantastic prospect and one which i should not throw away.
I shall be awaiting the nessacery forms.

Mr Cordwell,

It’s been a little while since I have graced your miserable, and somewhat plebeian, existence with offences only a significantly superior intellectual, like myself, could articulate. Thus, I wish to make it profoundly lucid that any attempt at a rebuttal will, of course, bring upon your menial, consummated being, a standard practice ‘face smashing’…nothing more, nothing less.

Since my departure from the Northern Lands I have become conspicuously wise in the Art of ‘fucking people up’ – this is an old Chinese marital art that originated out of 10th Century Koh Lanta; a quaint fishing village in the heart of the Krabi Province. With my new found ability it will make it significantly easier (not that it wasn’t before) to fuck you mother fucking face up with the most humdrum of forays. Following this, ill skin what pathetic array hair follicles you have left on your sparse cranium and sell them to third world, poverty stricken countries as material for sleeping covers. Money made will be spent on wanking aids such as KY jelly.

I bid you good evening.
