SoundARC Studios

As you may or may not be aware SoundARC hold a charity gig every year at Club 85 in Hitchin in aid of the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, and this year we are going to try something a little different from previous years.

This year we are going to take over the club and host 37 acts in one weekend putting full bands upstairs and acoustic acts downstairs in an event that we are calling ARCfest!

It all starts on Friday 4th December at 7pm and then continues on through Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th from 12pm-11pm

As well as raising money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, ARCfest will showcase all the different genres of bands that we at SoundARC have come across over the last 4 and a half years. Over this weekend a lot of the acts that you will see don’t get a chance to play a great local venue like Club 85, So as well as hearing new music you will see all manors of genres and styles from acoustic - Metal - Indie - Rock - Punk - Electro - Ska - Funk - Hip Hop/Rap - Alternative - Rhythm & Blues - Reggae - Grunge and loads more that I cant remember!

Hola Colin!
We were rehearsing tonight for some acoustic thing we'll do later in the year and we took my acoustic guitar out of the gigbag for the first time in A LONG time, and there was Pete Dello's signature on it! Next time we meet, you gotta have it a go too!
We'll be DELIGHTED to do DELIGHTED with you anytime anywhere anyhow!

Hey there Mr. Hare!
Couldn't make it to the Felipop this time.
We were touring Japan in 2005, and our next jap tour will take place from 28 nov until 6 dec, when are you going there? Would be AMAZING to hook up there and do "Delighted To See You" with you, even if it's at manic speed!

Hi Colin.

Just wanted to wish you and the rest of the Honeybus a Merry Christmas. I really enjoyed the video of the two fellows talking about today's music while listening to The Honeybus album. I have to agree that most pop records today seem to fall short where to me it's quite clear that Honeybus has stood the test of time. Hope all is well. Take care.

Through the long dark nights of musical famine we often experience in Valencia, promoters such as alta tension provide much needed rescue by offering a feast of quality acts from the UK and the US. Such was the case on the 24th of May, when we were treated to the company of both Colin Hare, a key member of the excellent and much mourned 60's UK group Honeybus and the Californian songwriter, musician, producer and author Andrew P. Sandoval, both on tour together thanks to their Spanish Label Hanky Panky records.
