dispatch from a brother named chad:
I am reading Bergman's "Images: My LIfe in Film" and i found this nugget:
My play opens with an actor walking down into the audience, where he strangles a critic, then reads aloud from a little black book all the humiliations he has noted therein. Then he throws up on the audience, after which he exits and puts a bullet through his head.

I like the phrase "when all that's left is sandwich wrappers." As you'll notice from you inbox, I sent your link to this story out to a writer's group that I'm currently hanging around. Hope everything is going well for you. Things are pretty fun in SF.

I think of you often. But especially when I pass a KFC (remember the chicken at the after party in Reno?) or a Dairy Queen. Also classier establishments like the Blue Goat and Alamo Street. Also every time you get published.
Props on the featherlight pub!!!!

The uncanny valley huh? An obsession with the almost perfect man? Or a commentary on the inevitable disappointment of the near perfect?
What you need is a zombie that doesn't bite, or a stuffed animal that does.

I don't like that javelinas story because I am worried that harm will come to them for disturbing the weapons.
