here's the information:
Carmela's paintings and collages are made from illusions, nostalgia, imaginary melodramas, experiences, and accidental poetry.
Her works express the melancholy and anxiety of all the dreamers who find shelter in fiction, running away from a reality that becomes more uniform and impersonal each day.
Her principle is spontaneity, (which is fundamental to all existence) embodied in vivid colors, photographs from old magazines, words, animals with hats and portraits of decadent characters, all dancing to a good tune.
Her work is completely unpretentious, and full of heart and blues.
