The fact that I'm part Native American - well, this had me cracking up - totally true! haha

Indian Chief "Two Eagles" was asked by a white U.S. government official, "You have observed the white man for 90 years. You've seen his wars and his technological advances. You've seen his progress, and the damage he's done."

The Chief nodded in agreement. The official continued, "Considering all these events, in your opinion, where did the white man go wrong?"

The Chief stared at the government official for over a minute and then calmly replied: "When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water --
women do all the work, medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex.'

Then the chief leaned back and smiled "Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve on system like that."

The Season Old Story Of "Deer Lee"

All was well for as long as he lived there
Cautious Humans put up signs outside of his territory
It became known as the 1st wildlife preserve

It's rumored that Rude Darf a cousin of his

challenged Dear Lee
Only to flee after receiving one blow
To his overly sensitive nose
It is said that he modified the story
And made a name for himself elsewhere

Unfortunately for the inhabitants of the Petrified Forrest
Everything changed when Dear Lee departed
It is said that he was last seen in Venice somewhere with two chicks
They looked hot
The validity of that story has never been confirmed
Even though It is favored by drunken bears
Who seem to get a laugh out of it every time it's told
It is only fair to mention that Dear Lee knocked the "paws off"
Of the bears' champion fighter
And that is actually where that saying originated
So the story that they are so fond of spreading to many
seems to be a sly attempt at revenge

Hey Boo -----

So I had a dream sweetheart, I’m standing at the base of a long, wide, deep grassy knoll which seems to go for miles…I’m facing a sleepy, soporific two lane highway, but there’s no traffic – not a car or truck in sight, in fact no sign of life at all - only the whipping of the wind across the asphalt. Then for some unknown reason, something compels me to turn around and look up the grassy knoll – and so I do ---



As I turn and look up the hill, I am overwhelmed by what I see:



- the entire hillside is covered with life – but in fact, in reality, it is covered with everything I’ve ever consumed in my life: Every fish and every fowl… Every cow and pig and duck and chicken and turkey and venison….every exotic creature and meat and living thing I’ve consumed…. Every vegetable and fruit and berry… everything I’ve ever gnawed and nashed and shoved down my gullet round the world, everything I’ve tore my way through… pummeling my way through life. And not just food, but every barrel of oil and gallon of gas and pint of whale oil I’ve ever burned and wasted in every single instance – every light bulb and gallon of laundry soap – lol - everything and anything one can use and abuse and consume in one’s life… : )



- and as I stare there at this great mass of destruction and death and consumption – everything standing there before me that has eyes – the eyes, I remember those black eyes, cold eyes, dead eyes, staring back at me – I can hear them voice one thing to me -



One single sentence. And what those voices said as the sound rolled collectively down that grassy knoll, was –



“Were you worth all this…?” Was I worth all this? Hmmm……



And then I woke up. I don’t quite know the answer babe, but I know two things:



1) I will think about this question from time to time;

2) It’s probably a question that everyone should think about – at least once.

Actually, I’m so fucking relieved, babe… I was afraid I was gonna fall for those gorgeous eyes of yours and become super attracted to you… which would’ve been totally awful with you being so far away… Then I was afraid that you were gonna have a lot to say and that I might end up liking the conversations too much….
