Well, I went by the Poplar Lounge last night to check you guys out but, as I was about to pull in, I saw that somebody else was on the marquee for Friday night. I thought that I might have gotten the venue wrong because you're playing more than one place this weekend but, when I got home and checked your MySpace site, saw you were, indeed, scheduled for Poplar Lounge.
I should've gone in and I'm sorry I missed you.
Shame on the Poplar Lounge for not changing their marquee!
I have a session with the Memphis Acoustic Music Association tonight but will try to get by to check you out at the P & H Cafe when I get through.
Break A Leg!

Hey, Dik & Co.,
Cassie and I sure enjoyed what we heard of your performance last night.
Unfortunately I was just buggered out and we had to cut out early. That plus Cassie had to be at work at 2:00 a.m.!
We look forward to seeing you again.
Man, y'all are good!
Lawd, lawd!
See you later,
Tracy

Hi, Guys,
You are really good. I had a wonderful time last night and thoroughly enjoyed your TOTALITY.
I say "totality" because it wasn't just the songs, song selection, musical chops, group interaction, audio mix or overall sound that was impressive. It was the TOTALITY of all those factors thay you have pulled together that blew me away.
As you know, I've recently quit my participation in a musical group setting and I play lead guitar. I LIKE lead guitar. You don't GOT no stinking lead guitar the way I like stinking lead guitar! But that doesn't matter.
The way Tom Arndt and Dik LeDoux swap guitar and bass duties makes for a really cool sound. And whoever has the bass gets to play the most lead lines! I thought that was great! Whoever's singing the song gets to strum, bang out, pluck or otherwise accompany himself on guitar while the other guy gets to have all the instrumental melodic fun. And keeping the lead in the bass makes for a more enjoyable ear experience when you consider that guys like me tend to peel the paint off the walls with our uncontrolled whiny feedback and mind-numbing volume!
Your vocals were similarly impressive, making me want to join in but, to my dismay, you don't need me. Actually, you don't need anybody else. You're a great group!
Drummer A J Adelman was cool, too, with his minimalist kit and maximalist abilities. Me, I can't tell a paradiddle from a flamadiddle but I liked A J's playing!
I enjoyed everything about you and look forward to experiencing Chees Kees again!
The evening wasn't totally wonderful, however :-(
I bought a t-shirt from you and when I got home I discovered that I should have bought one for my wife, too, who lambasted me up one side and down the other for thinking so little of her.
"So?", I said, "Next time you won't miss the Chees Kees, will you?!".
Well, after I got all my stuff picked up off the front yard
