Thanks to everyone who came out Saturday night and so generously contributed to our friend Jim's benefit. A super big thank you to Mark Bishop who hosted the event.

For our friend Jim -- Please attend a benefit for Jim Kasiewicz who is struggling to recover from surgery to his hand. Many great musicians will be performing. The event is at 8 pm Saturday night (1/31/09) - at FitzGerald's in Berwyn. A donation of $10 will be taken at the door. Looking forward to seeing you there.

the album is amazing... "i hesitate" is defintly my favorite song... but the whole thing is just really good... i've listened to it through four times now and you guys do everything that i would have done...

NOT WITHOUT, does not only rock, but they play... Each of them plays their respective parts with SOUL... Their slow songs-quieted FITZGERALDs tonight, like I have never heard silence. Emily's voice is HAUNTING, JIM's guitar unlocks mysteries that Rachel's fiddle tells... Erik and Ryan come long before and lay Black and White to the whole story. WOW! What a band...

Hey Guys, I finalized my support deal with Composite Acoustics last week and could not be happier with my new CA Vintage... (that sounded kind of like a commercial...) Any way I wrote them an email about my first night playing with it and they posted it as a blog on myspace.com/compositeacoustics ... I wrote about Tuesday night at Fitzgerald's and mentioned Jim and Not Without several times in the email. Check it out...

One other thing, I am playing tonight at the Buzz Cafe at 4:45 then Scott (from Fitzgeralds) is playing at 6:00... If you don't have anything going on come check us out. (Buzz Cafe allows B.Y.O.B.) Peace, -Kevin

sisterface...when you guys make your first video, you should perform an elaborate chase scene using old HUGE cars (like mom and dads chrysler) across the country in smokey and the bandit fashion...you and the drummer shall be in one car, with the drummer driving, rachel and the bass player get another car, with rachel driving, and jim gets the biggest car for himself and his cowboy hat, and possibly a hound dog named syd or something...you must all enter and exit the vehicles via bo and luke duke style...there will be thought bubbles with your witty humor written in them, and you will all have over exaggerated facial expressions to go along with your wacky writings...you eventually evade the chasers (the police, men in suits and shades in black unmarked suvs, hippies...pick your poison) and end up at mom and dads house...you immediately have a bright idea and head to the garage, crowbar open the fridge, and toast a frosty busch light...except for the bassist and rachel...they can have one of moms diabetic friendly diet 7ups...or koolaid...cuz koolaid is always funny...
then, you drive back to chitown at sunset...
this video will be set to "changes come" and be very dusty...moral: changes do come, but you should never forget where you came from...
or something like that...
or not:)
we didnt have school today, as it was too friggin cold...so rafe and i baked cookies and i apparently have cabin fever and am starting to go crazy:) heh heh heh heh wheeeeeeee!

Awesome show yesterday... You guys really rocked it out... Ryan you broke a drum... Racheal I didn't know you could sing, but amazing vocals and fiddle playing... Stevie, I mean Emily you have an outstanding voice... Eric, awesome... And Jim, you're the man... You guys are just awesome... I can't wait for a full length c.d...
