There's a lot of artists out there trying to make wonderful music, and because I understand, too well, how hard it's is to find support from the media if you're not on MTV, or if you're name isn't Britney (imagine Britney McDonald... sounds bad...), I try to use my blog to spread the work from new, and sometimes not so new artists, and so far I'm happy about the reactions from my readers.

Hey Marc,

Just wanted to swing by for a listen again. I really like "It Doesn't End Here" A LOT! Also, "Night And Day" in 3/4 sounds very hip. . .trying to remember if I've ever heard it this way before ~ definitely a very, very nice arrangement. Really, all the tunes are terrific. . .and it's such an awesome assemblage of talented cats you have in your ensemble, not the least of which is you, yourself. . .

Hey Marc,

Thank you so much for joining Steve, Tony, and me on the gig this past Saturday night. You sounded fantastic, and I received some nice compliments about your playing from some of the folks that came out to see us perform.

I very much enjoyed hearing your sound again, Marc, and I'd have to say that 10 years (or thereabouts) in between gigging together, you and I, is far too long ~ I do hope we have an opportunity to have some "musical" conversation with one another again in the not too distant future.
