i'm so happy because the feeling is mutual. ...first i would make a beautiful nest out of "this is love" and curl up for a nap and purr. when i awoke i would fill a bowl with "w" and eat it with my fingers.

A Birthday Poem

Dawn was born in 1973
On August the 16th.
In 1976 (on the same date) she was 3
And in 1989 it was her 16th
(6 years after 1983).
And In 2009 (20 years from her 16th)
It is now 36 years on from 1973.....
Today infact!

Happy Birthday!

That maybe true, but my tent is made from the souls of sparrows and my sleeping bag the hair of fair maidens. As for your rucksack, I don't know what all that you own is, it could be a pebble for all I know, and hence a pretty rubbishy one (it's probably empty advocado shells with a piece of string!!).W, strange sounding letter isn't it?

I've listened thru headphones twice now, and third time the track! There's something changing here in your style! Yes, there is still the fragmentation and what I call 'thought sounds'...by that I mean the sounds drift as thoughts do (daydream)and so, as I usually try to do when listening to your music first listen, I let it flow into me! Second time I listen attentively to the sound and its progression. It's always interesting and fun to see where it goes, especially how your mind, ear etc is working, but what stands out here (in my ear) is a new form of 'song' approach , which is more than improvisational jazz or experimental! i.e a development in the traditional sense of 'songwriting'('esoteric pop?'). There is always melody in what you do and I think this is why it stands apart from most experimental music and to get melody and experimentation to work together is not easy. It is easy to write a 'song' and awash it with experimental sounds but to write a song with experimental sound and structure is a different matter! And W is a bloody good 'song' and not a 'piece!' That's how I see it anyway!

Everything Is In Eterni…

Excerpt from 'Gertude' by Herman Hesse:

'The wonderful clarity returned - the almost glasslike brightness and transparency of feelings - when everything appears without a mask, where things were no longer labelled sorrow or happiness, but everything signified strength and sound and creative release. Music was arising from the turmoil, iridescence and conflict of my awakened sensibilities . . . Whether I felt pain or joy, my discovered strength stood peacefully outside looking on and knew that light and dark were closely related and that sorrow and peace were rhythm, part and spirit of the same great music . . . but I knew it was my own music, born and experienced within me and never heard anywhere else before.
