I tried dying my hair by myself and kinda messed it up so thats why I had to get it re-done at a pro hair salon! How have you been tho? I was suppose to be coming home about now but it just hasn't worked out yet! Im trying to get there asap bc I miss everyone soo much! Ill make sure to call you tho for a surprise dinner!!

thanks for the info. we'll definitely give her a call. shower did go well. we're supposed to have another one in january. would love for you to come. the one in van was mostly people from there so i didn't figure you or any ywamers would want to come. but with ava here in january you may not want to get out. the vineyard is supposed to do a shower for us sometime after she's born. you can come to that one if it works out better. its a couple shower. really want to chat with you sometime. even go out for coffee/tea for a bit. just let me know.

It's funny...I don't even know his/her name. I don't even know if he was a he or she. Long story short, Kristen (Jeff's wife) had a miscarriage this week. I didn't even know she was pregnant. I didn't even know they were trying! All I know is that in an instant, I found out I was an uncle, and then I wasn't. I can't help but miss him/her. You know how much I love kids. I can't justify it to myself, either. He/She wasn't just a cluster of cells. He/She was a person, a baby, a relative. :(

I normally wouldn't share this with someone who's pregnant, but you're due any day, so you have nothing to worry about. Just keep Kris and Jeff in your prayers.

Yeah, we had to put Misty to sleep this week. It was really sad, but she was 17 years old. It just really sucks to lose both cats within a couple months of each other :(

awww... you're pregnant! wonderful news. Congrats. Hopefully my turn won't be ere too long. :) yeah.. my hubby is pretty handsome eh. he's super. He can wash dishes, do laundry, iron and clean too to taut skills that are seldomly heralded in men. Of course in addition to his very manly kill a rabbit with his bare hands qualities.

LOL! Actually Dr Sears has a book called "The Breastfeeding Book" Sears had a whole collection of books that are incredible!!! They're my heroes! lol! "The womany art of breastfeeding is good too. :) Just go into it educated, determined and with some support and you will do fine.

LOL! I think the key to not being chicken is being educated! If you know what is going on with your body and you know it has a purpose then its not so scary. Plus, any interventions up your chances of complications like C Sections......and That is NO walk in the park. I have done it both ways (epidural and without) and would do it naturally again in a second. The recovery is WAY better , plus the epidural messes with the natural high you get and interfers with bonding. I can vouch for that! Anyway, the book is actually really unbiased so you can make your own decision.

LOL! Yes I was in a tub! It was really fabulous and totally helped with the pain. I was supposed to give birth in the tub but because of the way she decided she wanted to present herself I ended up in the bed, on the floor, and in every different position imaginable. lol. I did not labor in the tub with the first two nor did I do them no drugs but I would personally do it the all natural way again if I were having anymore. JMO :) You NEED to read "The Birth Book" by William and Martha Sears.

Lol! I did put on weight. :) I gained 20 pounds which is what I gained with my first two as well. But different bodies do different things. Trust me, its not cause of something I do. :) I still have about 8 pounds left to lose but with nursing that should come off fairly quickly. Words of wisdom from a mom..........Nurse That Baby!!!! :)

Yeah, the trip was great. I hadn't been to Europe in a long time. Didn't make it to Romania, though. ;)
