Thanks for becoming friends :)

If you could take just 2 minutes to have a look at some of my pics and let me know which one you like best that would be wicked!!

How are you anyway??

We have just got ourselves a new camera so we are offering all new friends the chance to have some photos taken for free. You just cover the travel. Interested?

Yo,

All groovy ta.  I've been hybernating quite a bit, re-hashing a play I did at Drama school into a radio play.  I'm going to send it to the BBC n see if they're interested.  It's mostly about my Granny.  Other than that generally amusing myself. I put some friends onto you (The Byron Vincent Co-oporation, Plc) and they wondered if you'd be up for doing a 'gig' in Hebden Bridge at The Trades Club?  Quite a bizarre place and worth a visit purely on a sociological level.  You'd be remunerated of course but I've no idea what you're worth these days. I think someone's trying to get a comedy night going there or something and they really like your thang.  Anyhow let me know if you're interested.

Bye bye X

Hi Byron. I was wondering if I could ask you a favour? I've got a mate who's doing a study on what "Preston means to you..... and what is it that makes it Preston". I'm sorry to hit you with an exam question after so long off myspace but I felt you might have something worthwhile for her. Everyone else has just said "drunks"

peace

Hi Bilas,

I gather you've been schlepping about at Shunt.  I keep meaning to go when I'm in London.  Are you doing any more there? I might be there next week.

Hope all's well with you, Mia X

Hello sir,

wondering if I'd said hello yet or not, didn't think I had.  Hope you are good and still looking youthful for your 34 years.

PS. You should try to wood push again, it's good for the soul.

PPS. Mmmm maybe wood push was the wrong phrase to use...

Thanks, I'm thinking about it as it isn't too far a trek from where I am.  The only interest my local arts theatre roused recently was an evening with Pam Ayers, but she was sold out!

I'm not going this year sadly. I was a little disappointed with last years, the Apples and Snakes was the best performance by far all weekend :)
Was good to hear new stuff (you and Berkavitch) as well as seeing acts I already like (Jamie Woon) :)

I shall take your advice on teepee security although we're off to a big home educator's festival so they're more likely to paint it creatively or use it to illustrate a principle of geometry rather than nick it. Glad you got to perform at Glastonbury and I'm sure it was more than "ok".
Sorry to hear you've done your back in too.  Get back to the doctors and be all forceful...or failing that, read your Bob poem at him/her and it should at least get you sectioned, possibly a hospital bed and one step nearer to some bloody treatment.  Hope you get it sorted soon.  Sarah x

go to see an osteopath soon as you can. i think there's one on gloucester road--i went to the family practice one on coronation rd: 0117 9669724 or the wells rd one: 01179710221. i felt momentarily like a human internet then--or 'worm' as nokka, the naturist from mousehole, once called it--but it's really just because i use her card as a bookmark and it was to hand as i saw your plea for help.

when you're better, do you want to do a gig with us 14th august at the grain barge?

oh, rest loads, but don't stay completely still, because your whole body will seize up like a raped arse hole.

ahh. alas i did not stay pink! if i wasn't so stoned i don't think i would have ever done it! i was a fool to think i could pull it off just because lily allen could! i take it you live near by then? but surely not originally... with your lovely accent and all. and i didnt recognise your face.. more your lovely jacket xxx

Jul 5, 2009 9:35 PM

i'm not sure. but i think me and my friend drunkenly came across you on cotham brow, and i had pink hair which you told me was nice, you gave us your lighter to use.... maybe it wasn't you. but none the less your face seems familiar and this is the only place i can place you x

Did you get to perform at the weekend or were you too busty interegating people to find the whereabouts of your beloved teepee?  But, glib comments aside, it's so horrible when someone does something like that as it often means you trust everyone a little less. I hope you had somewhere to sleep for the weekend and didn't lose any other stuff. We're about to head for HESFES in our new teepee next week....but I was nowhere near Glastonbury last week  I promise and, if I know you, you had your name in it somewhere like your P.E. kit. Hope you have a better time this week. Let us think of terrible things that could befall your thief...might I suggest, the central pole becomes a large lightening conductor, igniting the (also stolen) booze in their tent and engulfing them in flames?????? Go on, think of teepee Karma. Get it all out hehehe xx Sarah

Byron, is there, perchance, anywhere in the interweb a site where your poems are written down? It'd make your poems a lot easier to analyse for A level english if I didn't have to transcribe them from your videos.

Thanks

ACCORDING TO bbc.co.uk/poetryseason; Byron Vincent describes himself as "poorly educated on various northern sink estates". He delivered the best poem I've heard about Britain's drink problems and is underrated by nobody but himself.
