This movie has just been released in Austrlian cinemas. Critics somewhat like it, audiences have mixed reviews. The fact that it is even being shown on Australian screens is a testament to the greatness of the story, even though the audiences here just dont get it.

I just got my "Love in the time of Cholera" DVD is finally out in stores. Its really good I recommended it.

I'm going to be the first one in line to get the DVD. Everyone I know is either getting the book or dvd this year, for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings. Any joyous event they are getting it. Thanks for this great story.

i remember seeing the book in the movie serendipity. since i've always been curious until i saw it on oprah. can't wait to see the movie let alone find the book to read :)

I just finished reading the novel....I am in complete aww. The ending was beautiful and it was so romantic. The ending is timeless...

Hola, solo escribo para agradecer que alla decidido compartir su gran talento de escritor con el mundo :) Acabo de terminar de leer "Memoria de mis Putas Tristes" y no hay palabras para explicar lo que senti al terminar de leer el libro. i didn't see the movie yet cause it's not in theatres yet here in germany :( but i'm currently reading the book and i LOVE IT!!

but what i wanted to ask is where does what's the venue of the whole scenery? is it barranquilla? or cartagena? i'm pretty sure it's one of those 2 but i'm not sure :x
