The Killers, Snow Patrol.. and I would have loved arctic monkeys, but Kaiser chiefs would have been very close 3rd... and it's lovely to see the temper trap back. Only thing is, I can't get a preticket because I'm not a virgin mobile customer???? And I would have worn the tshirt with pride!! This is my 3rd VFest! I live in Merrimac and we had to look at the poor lost shoes everywhere for months after. Glad to hear it's moving up the hill at the Avica (is that right?? :) (I printed off the amended set list on the day, and security was very glad I did ;) Oh what a wonderful day, to have some of my fav bands on the much waited for announcement 1st lineup bill and I think I passed my 2nd stage of an interview.. so I'll have the money to buy my ticket! Thank you for putting a big rockin smile on my face!! rock on nettap

Saint Benjamin Ivan La…	Apr 2, 2008 10:40 AM Gold Coast V Festival. It was bittersweet. The mud didn't bother me that much. The change of times did and the different layout. Walking up a hill to get to "That Stage", not really a great idea. Also the long entrance/ exit walking back out, needs more lights. I almost got my head cut off by a thick tree branch. It was dark. Perhaps have more then one merch stall for next year? Keep it 18+!! Overall, it was good.Love the location. This year didn't beat last year's atmosphere. Still fun though.

Yes I went back through the mud lake for QoTsA, and was second front! And finished the night of with The Presets, cause I couldn't be stuffed going back through the mud lake and up the hill to Duran Duran.. lol.
