Angry Film Festival

Entries are now open for the 2010 Angry Film Festival.

For more details go to www.angryproductions.org and download an entry form. There is an early bird deadline until the end of November 2009 for all Australian entries of $15. After November it will go up to $25.

The only criteria is that films must be under 15 minutes. Overseas entries are free.

After a fantastic season of Blood Brothers, Shire Music Theatre is now working on our first production of 2008 - Elton John & Tim Rice's AIDA.

We are looking for male cast members who fit the following description:

Radames - main male lead role - age range 20-30 years - rock tenor A flat to A flat - many great songs

Zoser - Radames’ Dad - aged range 30-55 years - older rock voice baritone F to F - the evil advisor to the Pharaoh - Great songs and great dialogue.


We are also looking for male & female ensemble - singer/dancers - the ensemble will be an integral part of the whole show - great songs to sing.

Show dates March 7th to March 16th 2008. Rehearsals are Monday and Wednesday nights with some Sundays closer to the show dates. Both rehearsals and performances all take place in the Sutherland Shire. Please note this is an unpaid production.

im good. just being pretty domestic actually!..boring. im about to work on the show for a bit. the last couple of sessions went well. is nic liking it? i hope so. im working the next couple of days. glad to hear the movie is going well, keeping you busy. nic said you got aother audition - how did that go? and when are we having curry? what about monday night?

You don't know me but I am so glad to here that you are another fan of Gina Riley and Jane Turner!!! Even though I was barly born when Fast Forward first aired, thanks to DVDs I love the show it is so funny especially Gina Riley's songs. I have some clips on my myspace if you wanna see some of them again. I have the same feeling about Full Frontal as you as it is funny, but I rekon it isn't as funny as Fast Forward. Are you much of a Kath and Kim Fan? Series 4 is currently being filmed at the mo so I'm all hyped! I got your profile off Jessica/Jezwyn so I am wondering if you are apart of Impro Melbourne?
