Hey there! We're doing great, if not a bit spacey out here. I think the heat might be getting to us...we can't remember all of the Dewey Decimal numbers! :)

My projects? I've been working on this heart pillow thing (very hi-tech words! ;-) and that's halfway done. It's a pattern from a book. I haven't tried anything from my own creation just yet. And I tried making baby booties but I suck at hand-sewing so I really messed those up....I'm going to try those again. I'd love to make a blanket with a motorcycle that I like on it. One day!!!

i have the 7462 model. *shrugs*
yeah i JUST started sewing. so it should be interesting. i haven't really had time lately to sit and read the user manual. i've been knitting lately though more than sewing. :-) not sure where my mom got it from.

i got a singer brand. not sure of the model since i am at work right now. don't know if that is a good brand or not. but since i am beginning, i don't necessarily need anything really fancy. :-)

i dont think he will, my dad is to closed minded. once he makes up his mind no one can change it. i have tryed. i dont care if he likes it. i just wish he would except that his son is a knitter, there are other things , like being bi i wish he would except, but i cant tell him.

he thinks that men should not knit...he said something one day that got me upset for along time, he said "theres something in this wourld that men just dont do" i was so upset, till i did research online and found out alot of men knit. so now when he make me mad i sit down and work on a hat, scarf, or the baby blanket for my friend and after knitting for about a half an hour, i feel much better.

Well... I'm knitting the HP House wristbands, which you saw earlier. I'm speed-knitting a Gryffindor scarf for a door prize; Elbow-length, ribbed, green alpaca armwarmers; aaaand, I think that's it. Busy, busy me!

For us a quiet marriage meant, getting married at the courthouse with a small lunch reception afterwards for only close family. We didn't elope, we just didn't have a huge wedding.

I've been married for about 2 years! We married before I started library school in Pittsburgh, PA.
It was a quiet marriage so many people find out by happenstance.

We're crazy with starting Teen Summer Reading right now. We're also decompressing from the awesome Harry and the Potters concert. (That will take a lot of deflating time.)
How are you guys? Still working on getting info from our knitting group! (Haven't forgotten, things just move slowly here in MD.)

Hi all,
May is National Mental Health Month. We are happy to announce readergirlz has chosen Dia Calhoun's book, The Phoenix Dance, as our pick this month.
We hope you can stop by! Her full issue will run at www.readergirlz.com; you can drop her a comment at www.myspace.com/readergirlz, and then chat with everyone, including Diva Dia, at http://groups.myspace.com/readergirlz. Tell us about your favorite shoes!
Hope to see you there! Let's work together to bust the stigma against mental illness.
