Altolia, Briga, Giampilieri, Molino, e Scaletta Zanclea protagoniste dopo il primo ottobre 2009 di un'eco assordante, rischiano oggi di essere dimenticate. E con loro gli sfollati con le loro macerie, la loro storia, la loro identità collettiva, i loro sogni e le loro legittime speranze nel futuro.

“Mani Per Messina” è un progetto nato per dare un aiuto concreto a loro, ma soprattutto per tenere accesi i riflettori su una tragedia alla quale non si debba aggiungere domani la beffa dell’oblio.

Imago Sound, Forte Petrazza, RadioStreet e 14 tra i migliori musicisti e band messinesi, hanno messo in condivisione passione, esperienze e professionalità per la produzione, promozione e distribuzione a dicembre di una compilation intitolata, come il brano inedito contenuto all’interno, “Mani”. Il brano, attraverso le radio e i canali della rete, continuerà a suonare per mesi per ricordare a tutti gli italiani il dolore di quei giorni e le condizioni attuali di migliaia di sfollati.

Il CD sarà messo in vendita al prezzo di 6,50 €. Il ricavato sarà interamente destinato a progetti di sostegno e di promozione sociale co-finanziati dalla Caritas diocesana di Messina.
